Happy 2017! 새해 복 많이 많이 받아요 여러분~

It’s been a really long time since I’ve updated anything but that’s because I’ve been a little lost about what this blog’s direction was.

But now I’m clearer than ever. I’ve bought a 1-year web hosting plan along with a new domain name! I’ve changed My Korean Learning Journey to Let’s Study Korean.

“We” instead of “I”

One of the main reasons (or perhaps the only one) is that I want to position this blog and its resources to be more about “we” and “us”. This isn’t just about myself but rather, us – all Korean learners.

The main purpose of this blog was and will always be to help Korean learners, including myself and all the readers. As such, I feel that “Let’s Study Korean” might make it more appealing and clearer to the readers that it’s not just about some random blogger and his Korean learning journey, but rather, our Korean learning journey.

Added another type of resource – TOPIK past papers

And another reason is to make this blog more discoverable. Because I’ve decided to not only focus on Vocabulary and Grammar, but also TOPIK past papers.

What I’m doing for the TOPIK section is to provide English translations of the entire TOPIK paper for self-learners. It is incredibly hard to find TOPIK classes, other than those with International Korean schools (expensive).

I’ve only started on 1 paper so far, and only the reading section. Going to work on TOPIK I materials first, because that’s where most self-learners need the most help.

Hope it’d be a great year and please show lots of support!

That’s about it, nothing else has changed. I’m still going to put up regular Vocabulary and Grammar posts but those wouldn’t be in the blog form anymore. This is for easier glossary management and for anyone wanting to navigate around the site.
