마찬가지 (ma-chan-ga-ji) – the same
This word is quite similar to 처럼 and in the sense that you would use this to compare and relate two or more subjects/objects.
The main difference is 처럼 is more like “similar” or ” very alike” while 마찬가지 means “identical”.
Examples:
우리 강아지가 우리 한 식구나 마찬가지야.
Our puppy is the same as our family member.
그 신발은 몇 년까지 입어도 새신발과 마찬가지네.
That pair of shoes was worn for years but it is still the same as a pair.
